California Correctional Peace Officers Association Endorses Esmeralda Soria for State Senate
Assemblymember Soria earns endorsement from one of the largest public safety associations in California, solidifying Soria’s unified support from law enforcement.
MERCED, CA – Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria has earned the endorsement of the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA), which represents all state correctional peace officers and parole agents who assist and supervise inmates after their release.
“We are pleased to endorse Esmeralda Soria’s campaign for State Senate,” said Neil Flood, President of California Correctional Peace Officers Association. “Her strong record of collaboration with public safety professionals and state leaders makes us confident that she’ll continue to be an effective partner in the State Senate. She has demonstrated a clear commitment to public safety in the Central Valley, with a profound understanding of the crucial role law enforcement plays.”
With the addition of CCPOA’s endorsement, Soria has secured backing from every major law enforcement organization in California, having previously been endorsed by the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), the Fresno Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, and more.
“I am honored to be endorsed by the California Correctional Peace Officers Association,” said Assemblymember Soria. “This is a dedicated team of public safety professionals, and I’m glad to have their support. I’ve worked alongside law enforcement, from the City Council to the Assembly, to make neighborhoods safer and will continue to be a partner they can count on.”
