Esmeralda Soria Secures Support of the California College and University Police Chiefs Association In Race for Assembly District 27
California College and University Police Chiefs Association joins the California Correctional Peace Officers Association, California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations, and local public safety leaders backing Soria for Assembly
FRESNO, CA – Today, Fresno City Councilwoman and Fresno City College Adjunct Professor Esmeralda Soria announced that the California College and University Police Chiefs Association has endorsed her candidacy for Assembly. In announcing their support for Councilwoman Soria, the President of the Association, Chief Joel Justice (ret.), issues the following statement:
“We made our endorsement after carefully evaluating both of the candidates and Council Member Soria was the only candidate who shared our commitment to protecting schools from active shooter assaults. She received our overwhelming endorsement.”
