Merced County District Attorney Kimberly Helms Lewis Endorses Esmeralda Soria in Race for Assembly District 27

FRESNO, CA – Today, Fresno City Councilwoman and Fresno City College Adjunct Professor Esmeralda Soria announced Merced County District Attorney Kimberly Helms Lewis has endorsed her campaign. In announcing her support, District Attorney Lewis released the following statement:

“I am honored to endorse Esmeralda Soria for Assembly. Esmeralda is a proven leader who is committed to making our communities safer. I look forward to partnering with her and having an advocate in the Assembly who will fight for us in the Central Valley.”

In recent weeks, Soria has cemented her frontrunner status, with endorsements from US Senator Alex Padillia and campaign finance reports showing her outraising her opponents by 5 to 1 and holding a massive 11 to 1 cash on hand advantage.
