FRESNO, CA – Today, Fresno City Councilwoman and Fresno City College Adjunct Professor Esmeralda Soria announced that Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond endorsed her campaign. In announcing his support for Councilwoman Soria, Superintendent Thurmond had the following to say:

He now joins US Senator Alex Padilla, Controller Betty Yee, the California Democratic Party, and scores of local Central Valley elected officials and business leaders.
