ADEM Elections

Join Assemblymember Soria! Vote To Elect Your California Democratic Party Assembly District Delegates.

What are Delegate Elections and Why Are They Important?

Every two years, registered Democratic voters in every State Assembly district across the state  have the opportunity to elect delegates to the California Democratic Party. These elections, called ADEM Elections, give everyday Democrats the chance to shape the future of the Democratic Party.

Delegates get to make important decisions like:

  • Shape the Party Platform: Delegates vote on the party’s policies, priorities, and endorsements, ensuring they reflect the values of their communities.
  • Endorse Candidates: Delegates help decide which Democratic candidates the party will officially support in elections, from local races to state and federal offices.
  • Vote at the State Convention: Delegates represent their assembly districts at the annual California Democratic Party convention, where key decisions about the party’s direction are made.

By voting in the ADEM elections, you help elect delegates who share your vision for the future of the party and the state.
