Black Women Organized for Political Action PAC Endorses Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria for State Senate
Statewide Organization Recognizes Leader Who Advocates for Equity, Families, and Working Communities
FRESNO, CA – Black Women Organized for Political Action California (BWOPA-CA) and the BWOPA State Political Action Committee have endorsed Assemblymember Soria for California State Senate District 14. The endorsement celebrates Esmeralda Soria as a homegrown leader who has consistently delivered concrete results for working women, families, and communities across the Central Valley.
BWOPA-PAC is a statewide organization dedicated to advancing the political empowerment of Black women and centering their voices in California’s civic and legislative life. The organization’s endorsement process centers on shared values around health, education, economic security, and criminal justice reform.
Soria’s record in the Assembly reflects her consistent commitment to equity and opportunity for the Central Valley, aligning with the priorities of BWOPA, whose core pillars are health, education, economic security, and criminal justice reform. She has centered the needs of working women, immigrant families, and communities of color throughout her legislative work, securing funding for regional hospitals, advancing farmworker protections, and championing quality healthcare access for underserved communities.
