Esmeralda Soria Wins An Exclusive Endorsement from the Latino Legislative Caucus in the Race for State Senate District 14
MERCED, CA – Today, Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria announced winning an exclusive endorsement from the California Latino Legislative Caucus. The endorsement reflects strong support from Latino leaders throughout the state and signals the Caucus’s confidence in Soria’s ability to represent and deliver for the Central Valley in the State Senate.
“Esmeralda Soria is a proven leader who has never forgotten where she comes from,” said Senator Lena Gonzalez, Chair of the Latino Legislative Caucus. “She brings the lived experience, policy knowledge, and community-centered values we need in the State Senate. Esmeralda has been a tireless advocate for improving quality of life in the Valley—fighting for better healthcare, access to clean drinking water, and investment in local infrastructure. The Latino Caucus is proud to stand with her.”
As the daughter of immigrant farmworkers, Soria knows firsthand the challenges facing working families in rural communities. She has built her public service career by focusing on real, tangible outcomes for constituents—whether it’s expanding healthcare access, investing in economic opportunity, or making government more responsive and accountable.
“The Latino Caucus has long been a powerful voice for progress and representation in our state, and I’m honored to have their support,” said Soria. “Together, we’ve worked to elevate our communities and ensure that every Californian—no matter their background—has a voice in Sacramento. I’m proud to continue that work as a candidate for State Senate.”
Soria’s campaign continues to build momentum with support from legislative colleagues, educators, labor unions, local elected officials, and now the Latino Caucus—showing broad and growing trust in her leadership from across the state.
